Bali

Bali is one of the most interesting places for me. I have not had a holiday experience to Bali but I have a desire to go to Bali.

Almost all tourists who vacation in Bali include the beach in their list of visits. Rows of beaches in Bali have uniqueness and charm.

One of the most popular beaches in Bali is Kuta Beach. This white sandy beach is famous for its big waves as well as being a paradise for surfers. Due to its strategic location, various hotels, restaurants, shops, and cafes can also be easily found along Kuta Beach road.

Going to the mall in Pandemic

Before the pandemic hit mall traffic was declining so shopping centers had doubled down on experiences amusement parks the food courts, movie theaters. but, now with social distancing measures in place and the coronavirus those are less attractive to customers. now malls are doubling down on cleanliness/going to limit entries into the mall.

Now I share some things to pay attention to when going to the mall.

 It's so important to wear a mask we keep everyone safe. if the body temperature is below 36 degrees, then the body temperature is normal, if it is above 36 degrees then we cannot enter the mall. the security guard does not allow us to enter.

Keep your distance, when you’re outside, or in a store, when you end up in someone’s presence, it stops the spreads,the recommended distance is six feet. 

So every time you handle things, you have to clean your hands with hand sanitizer.

Duo Minions

The Indonesian men's doubles pair Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuldjo and Marcus Gideon Fernaldi or often called the "Duo Minions", went viral after becoming the only Indonesian representative to win a gold medal in the All England cup and after winning the India Open yesterday. These victories make the duo minions occupy the position of the men's doubles ranking of the world's current ranking. the beautiful games that they present when defeating their opponents make the eyes of the world captivated. For example, against “Duo Mads” called for the Danish men's doubles in the semi-finals of the All England and India Open yesterday, the Indonesian Duo Minions presented a beautiful game and won both matches.

Kevin's mainstay Flick Service is one of the things that beautifies the duo minions game which also often makes its opponents emotional. For example, against a Malaysian pair in the 2016 India Open semi-final, flick servicekevin made one of the Malaysian players banned by a yellow card due to a loud complaint against the referee. Croffle

 

You can find a combination of crunchy and soft pastry in croffles. Croffle is an abbreviation of croissant and waffle. Whether it's a croissant or a waffle, both are well known as a Western breakfast. Croissants generally have a crescent shape, while waffles can take many forms depending on the mold.

The dough for croissants and waffles is different too. Croissants are a type of leavened pastry that must be rested before shaping and baking. While the waffle dough is liquid and can be baked immediately after all the ingredients are mixed. The shape and dough of the two different cakes were then put together and given the name croffle by a chef from Dublin, Louise Lennox.

In 2017, croffles were finally sold for the first time at a cafe called La Petite Boulangerie belonging to Cuisine de France located in central Dublin. Croffle is made from croissant dough which is then cooked by baking it in a waffle mold. Croffles can be served as a sweet or savory dessert, depending on the toppings made. Lennox and Cuisine de France then continued the development of sweet croffles filled with avocado, sweet tomatoes, cream of feta cheese, and a sprinkling of gremolata crumbs.

 MY FUTURE PLANS

my name is Regina Patricia. I am a student of the faculty of literature and language. My major is Mandarin education. When I was in school, I didn't have the slightest experience in learning Mandarin, so now I feel that learning Mandarin is very difficult, so I have to put a lot of effort into learning Mandarin, I think I have many abilities that can help me doing it very well.

My grade point average (GPA) now is very satisfied to me and my family, but in the first semester of the first year, my grade point average isn't good enough. I think it's because I couldn't adjust myself to the new environment and always think that learning Mandarin is difficult like the first time I got a bad first test result, I immediately gave up and didn't want to try to learn again.

I'm a diligent and strict person. I always do my works with all my intention and before I send my works to my teacher I need to check the overall of my works that if there are any mistakes or not. Moreover, I'm quite self- confident. I usually do everything with myself so I don't like to ask for help if it isn't necessary. When working in group I'm usually a leader in a group and I can do my duties the best.

Since I had good test results, I became more and more curious about Mandarin. For the last two years I've been watching Chinese dramas. I think this is my new learning method to make it easier to speak Mandarin.

Now i've been trying well in learning mandarin my next effort is to be able to finish my college program in the mandarin language education department. Currently I have started working on my final college assignment, which is to start compiling research for chapters 1-chapters 3, I hope that the results of my research can be approved by my teacher.

I plan to do many things after I graduated from the faculty of literature and language, majoring in mandarin.. The first thing is I'm going to work at an foreign company to translator or work in the field of communication that is still related to mandarin. And I will take a special course to improve my Mandarin skills. Then I will study abroad in MBA program in communication field because I think it's very useful when my working position is higher and it's can apply to use in my real-life. And then I will come back to work in Australia. All my future plans will come true if I keep learning and trying.

 

Ferry Unardi Ceo of Traveloka

    Of course, almost everyone is now familiar with Traveloka.  The online-based ticket sales company is already popular and its services have been widely used by the people of Indonesia.  This success certainly cannot be separated from the role of the initiator, Ferry Unardi.  

    He is 33 years old and a graduate student at Harvard University in the United States.  Ferry was born in Jakarta, West Sumatra, Indonesia.  In 2012, Ferry started to launch Traveloka.  Ferry tried to convince the airline companies and also improve the customer service system (customer service).

  So far, Traveloka has received funding from several venture capital companies. The first funding came from East Ventures in 2012 and Global Founders Capital in 2013. from the ferry story what inspires me is the spirit of never giving up and hard work. It turns out that it is not easy to create a startup company many challenges must be faced starting from management, funding, establishing partnerships, and so on.

My name is Regina Patricia was born in Jakarta, June 22, 1996,  the third child of four siblings. Currently studying at the Indonesian Christian University major in Mandarin language education in semester 5.

   My dream is to work for a start-up company or work for a state-owned company. Because I think that if I can work, the company will have a broad vision and a modern colleague environment. Before, I watched a show called Start-Up. In that drama, I found things that motivated me to want to work in a start-up company.

 

   The advantage that I know about myself is that I'm willing to learn new things that I may not have mastered so far.  My weakness is that sometimes I lack confidence in myself, so sometimes I seem afraid to try because I am afraid that it will not be what I want.
